My latest and greatest haul is from Earthen Glow Minerals.  I think this company is a must try for any woman who is looking for high end makeup - natural mineral or traditional because Earthen Glow Minerals' makeup is so long lasting and strongly pigmented that it is equivalent in my opinion to many department and high end better known brands.  If you love or dislike mineral foundation I think that this line will change either your brand or your mind towards mineral makeup.  Why?  The coverage and lasting strong finish is perfect for women of every color.  Being a very fair cool toned woman of European descent I found several perfect matches and my top selection is from their Youthful Glow line in Lauren.  Also to try is the Cover Me line which is perfect for this time of year especially for those wanting heavier coverage.  At this time I'm wearing Nomina in Cover Me but also found Glo Dean (a free sample sent to me by the company) a great match.  One thing about the two formulas is how differently they apply.  Cover Me is much heavier and covers everythig while still looking natural but I think it needs to be buffed gently in to get the true color and even coverage.  Youthful Glow applies with no buffing.  Both look equally natural with Youthful Glow giving a lighter coverage that's buildabl to your desired depth and a slight glow.  Cover Me is more matte.  I'm still trying the liquid foundation in Cool Beige and will likely order a full size since I love the coverage, color, and lasting power. 

Sushi Facial Soap by EGMINERALS

Not to be overlooked is this company's excellent line of quality natural skincare and bath and body soaps.  This time of year I tend to prefer long baths and I tend to indulge more in bath and body items as well as do more to pamper my skin.  I've been using a Sushi Facial Soap that they have and this creamy, botanically rich soap is greatly underpriced!  I would definitely rate this bar in my top 5 ever used facial soaps.  It's rich with botanicals and gentle cleansing agents and not only deep cleans but refines and moisturizes.  Another must try.

Cherry Almond Soap Ball by EGMINERALS

Another hunk of gold that I've struck from Earthen Glow Minerals is their ball of soap.  I bought a similar item like this in London a year back and paid the US dollar equivalent of $27 or more for a smaller less enjoyable bar.  What is is?  It's a ball of soap with an scrungie inside.  Dont' let the small size fool you.  I've been using mine with fantastic exfoliating and cleansing results for nearly a month now and still have plenty to go.

Rain Body Scrub and Butter Duo by EGMINERALS

actually love both.  I purchased Rain in the firm and it's a wonderful fresh scent that comes with a nice medium textured body butter.  The other duo scrub butter that I purchased is different in consistency for both the butter and the scrub.  The scrub that I got with the sugar traditional Season's best is looser but very nice, moisturizing, and plenty of gentle scrubbing.  The butter looks and feels just like butter and absorbs immediately into the skin.  The smell for Season's best is amazing and I will definitely be reordering this one for gifts.  A definite must try.

SMOKEY EYE KIT from EGMINERALS

Also the eye shadows (I purchased the smokey eye kit) are the longest lasting most pigmented and smooth that I've used and I've used many brands.  I also got a free eye shadow base with my purchase in Nude and this is a great natural alternative to the Eye shadow base I had been using that was drying my lids out.  It works great and applies totally nude as the name suggests it should.

After a string of beauty queen scandals involving racy photos in late 2006, it's a wonder that today's crowned beauties haven't learned from others' mistakes. In pictures posted on TMZ.com on July 9, Miss Washington 2007 Elyse Umemoto was snapped flipping off the camera and playing beer pong -- while wearing her crown. Umemoto also flashes a sexually suggestive hand sign in a photo. The field director of the Miss Washington pageant said the organization is "embarrassed by the pictures," but Umemoto will not face disciplinary action because she is not engaged in illegal activity in the photographs, according to a statement released to TMZ.com. "It is unfortunate that her behavior in unguarded moments has attracted attention," the field director said in the statement.

Former Miss Nevada Katie Rees, who lost her title after racy pics of her surfaced in December 2006, allegedly resisted arrest when she was pulled over for a routine traffic violation in the early hours of Feb. 6, 2008, according to the Las Vegas Police Department. Rees was then taken to Clark County Detention Center, where she was booked on charges of speeding, driving with a suspended license and suspended license plates and resisting a police officer.

This trio is one of the best cheek stains that I personally have used.  It leaves a beautiful natural subtle color on the cheeks that last for hours without streaking or fading.  It does initially have a somewhat oily feel to it prior to applying but I found that it dried on the skin perfectly.  Used as a lip tint it wasn't quite as long lasting as other lip/cheek staing that I've used and faded quite rapidly.  It was moisturizing but had very little lasting power.

A nice thin pallet of natural earthtone eyeshadows that unfortunately weren't pigmented enough for my tastes.  The colors though are in the range that I typically wear but for some reason it took several layers to gain visibility of these and I found that without use of an eye primer prior to application they didn't last very long.

This mascara came in a set of two.  I wanted so much to love this product and it does have it's virtues.  One however is not being smudge proof nor is the other being flake proof.  Aside from that I, being a contact lense wearer, found it very gentle and non-irritating to my eyes even when worn overnight.

If you're looking for a more natural irritant free mascara than this is a nice alternative to Almay but I did find that this product worked best when limited to a maximum of 2 layers.  Beyond that it seemed to flake more as the day went on and gave a spidery look as opposed to a full thick look when layered beyond 2 or 3 light applications.  It does however live up to it's name of being gentle and lengthening which in itself makes it worth trying, especially for contact lense wearers or others with sensitivities to mascara.

Nice somewhat sheer moisturizing lipgloss that is conveniently packaged in a brush applicator.

Overall the 100% pure line of cosmetics is one that I find delivers on it's promises of gentle natural cosmetics using quality ingredients.  I look forward to more products from this line.
